Pancakes & Praise
Provides worship and free pancake breakfast every Sunday. Serves up to 200 people a week. Funded by donations, grants and church budget.
Provides medical care and advice to all every 2nd and 4th Sundays. Serves up to 20 people. Volunteers, doctors and supplies provided by the UH Burns School of Medicine.
Food for Next Step
Provides dinner for Next Step Shelter as needed. Serves up to 300 people up to 8 times a month. Funded by donations and grants.
Food for I.H.S.
Provides dinner for Institute for Human Services once every other month. Serves over 300 people. Funded by donations and grants.
Provides computers, internet access, printers and support 5 days a week for 4 hours. Funded by donations and grants.
Bread for the World
Encourages church members to contact their congressional representatives to advocate on behalf of those who are hungry. Supplies provided by the church.

Christmas Angel Project
Every year, our church helps you to find that perfect gift … instead of giving something they don’t need, why not give a gift to a mission project or to disaster relief or to a non-profit making a difference in our community! You make the donation in honor of your loved one and we will send a card to them acknowledging
Provides canned goods, gift certificates, emergency support, and pastoral care. Funded by Pastors Discretionary Fund and donations.
The Legal Clinic (TLC)
First UMC provides a free legal clinic for those seeking information, advice, and referral about immigration issues. The clinic is held every 2nd and 4th Sundays from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Call (808) 777-0045 for an appointment.
